BUSD - Give Berkeley High Community Accountability and Leadership

The Berkeley PTA Council is concerned about the actions taken against Berkeley High Principal Sam Pasarow, particularly the lack of communication around his suspension and possible dismissal. We are calling on BUSD and the School Board to be more forthcoming with what and why. The Exec Board of the Berkeley PTA Council has started a petition on calling on BUSD and the School Board to do the right thing:

On December 5th, Berkeley Unified School District made the unprecedented move of abruptly placing BHS Principal Sam Pasarow on leave, and has given no further communication on the matter. Based on this and stories in Berkeleyside and the Daily Cal, rumors are flying: is he being investigated for bullying classified employees, or mishandling complaints of sexual harassment? Has he committed a crime?
