IRS Forms 990EZ or 990 due to the IRS for PTAs grossing over $50,000 the previous fiscal year. IRS Form 990-N must be filed electronically by PTAs grossing under $50,000 the previous fiscal year. Check the IRS Non-Profit site for more details.

FTB Form 199 due to the FTB (State of California) for PTAs grossing over $25,000 the previous fiscal year. FTB Form 199-N must be filed electronically be PTAs grossing under $25,000 the previous fiscal year.  This is a new requirement which began in 2011.  There is more information on the California Francise Tax Board's Non-Profit pages.

Attorney General RRF-1 reports are now required by all PTA units. This form is required to maintain registration on the Attorney General's Registry of Charitable Trusts. More information and forms can be found on the Attorney General's Charities website.

You must load copies of your filings into PTAEZ or send them to the Council Treasurer.
