BUSD Welcome Reception for Dr. Donald Evans

BUSD will be having a reception for Dr. Donald Evans, our new superintendent, in the hour before the Sept. 11 School Board meeting. The reception will be from 6:30pm to 7:15pm in the lobby of the Old Berkeley City Hall, 2134 MLK Jr. He has specifically reached out to the PTA and would like a chance to meet our leadership in an informal setting. As I have written in the past, I believe the Board made a good selection in Dr. Evans and hope you all will take the opportunity to meet him and judge for yourselves.
