Berkeley Public Schools Closed for Covid-19 Health Safety

As Berkeley locks down in compliance with the City's March 16 "Shelter In Place" order, all schools in the Berkeley Unified School DIstrict will be closed. The order has been extended through May 1, 2020. The District has set up this page for Covid-19 status and services availability, including links to the status of free breakfast and lunch distribution, home learning resources, and links to reliable sources of information for the state of the shut down and affects of the situation in the Bay Area.

We know the resiliancy and compasion of our Community which takes action to support all those in it. The most important actions are keeping ourselves and others safe by limiting contact which reduces the speed this desease spreads which, in turn, preserves the vital health resources for those who are going to need them. Help your families and neighbors within these safety considerations is important in getting through these trying times. The Berkeley PTAs and wider Berkeley Community have proved time and again we understand we're all in this together.\

Stay Safe and Well.
